A road trip through the most dangerous parts of Iraq at the height of the insurgency to find out what happened to the 8,000 missing Barzani men and boys who were abducted from Iraqi government camps in 1983.

Saddam’s Road to Hell won the Emmy Award for ‘Outstanding Investigative Journalism’ in 2006. It was broadcast by ZDF in Germany, PBS in the United States, Channel 4 in the United Kingdom and on 20 other television territories across the world.

Extracts from the film were used as evidence in the trial of Saddam Hussein for crimes against humanity.
